DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Frank was
located near latitude 20.8 North, longitude 115.0 West. Frank is
moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h). This general
motion is expected to continue with a slight increase in forward
speed during the next day or two.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher
gusts. Some weakening is anticipated during the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
