DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Four-E
was located near latitude 12.6 North, longitude 110.2 West. The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h).
A turn toward the west is expected later today, and this motion
should continue for the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the
depression is forecast to become a tropical storm later today.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
