DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Agatha was
located near latitude 18.1 North, longitude 127.1 West.  Agatha is
moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h) and should continue in
this general direction and speed during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours.  Agatha should
weaken to a tropical depression later today and is likely to become
a remnant low by Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
