DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Nineteen-E was located near latitude 10.2 North, longitude 119.2
West. The depression is moving toward the west near 16 mph (26 km/h)
and this general motion with some decrease in forward is expected
over the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher
gusts.  The depression is expected to become a tropical storm later
today and a hurricane over the weekend.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
