DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Fifteen-E was located near latitude 13.7 North, longitude 108.3
West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 12 mph (19
km/h), and this motion is expected to continue during the next
couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
The depression is forecast strengthen to a tropical storm today
and could become a hurricane by late Monday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1001 mb (29.56 inches).
