DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eleven-E
was estimated near latitude 17.6 North, longitude 114.6 West. The
depression is moving toward the northwest near 16 mph (26 km/h) and
this general motion is expected for the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher
gusts. Some slight strengthening is possible, and the depression
could become a tropical storm later today.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
