DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Seven-E
was located near latitude 18.0 North, longitude 114.0 West. The
depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 9 mph (15
km/h). A turn toward the northwest is forecast today, followed by a
turn toward the west-northwest by Friday night.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast through Friday. The
depression is expected to weaken to a remnant low Friday night.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
