A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for...
* Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Nevis, and Anguilla
* Saba and St. Eustatius
* St. Maarten
* Guadeloupe, St. Barthelemy, and St. Martin

A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are
possible within the watch area, in this case within 36 to 48 hours.

Interests elsewhere in the U. S. and British Virgin Islands, Puerto
Rico, and the Dominican Republic should monitor the progress of
Danny.  Additional watches or warnings could be required for
portions of these areas on Sunday.

DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK
------------------------------
At 200 AM AST (0600 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Danny was
located near latitude 15.7 North, longitude 55.3 West. Danny is
moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h), and this general
motion is expected to continue through tonight.  A turn toward the
west-northwest is forecast on Monday.  On the forecast track, the
center of Danny is expected to be near the Leeward Islands tonight
or Monday morning.

Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km)
from the center. A NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft will be
investigating Danny later this morning.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 999 mb (29.50 inches).


HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

WIND:  Tropical-storm-force winds are possible within the watch
area by late Sunday night.

RAINFALL: Danny is expected to produce 2 to 4 inches of rain over
the Leeward Islands through Monday.
