SATELLITE IMAGERY AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THAT THE 
CENTER OF GEORGETTE HAS MOVED INLAND JUST WEST OF GUAYMAS 
MEXICO.  AT 500 PM PDT...0000 UTC...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL
DEPRESSION GEORGETTE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 28.1 NORTH...
LONGITUDE 111.0 WEST. THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH
NEAR 13 MPH...20 KM/HR AND THIS GENERAL MOTION SHOULD CONTINUE
UNTIL DISSIPATION TONIGHT OR THURSDAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS IN A FEW RAINBANDS.  A WIND GUST TO 39 MPH...63 KM/HR...WAS
RECENTLY REPORTED AT GUAYMAS.  THE DEPRESSION IS EXPECTED TO 
WEAKEN AS IT MOVES FARTHER INLAND.
 
ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1001 MB...29.56 INCHES.
 
 
HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

WIND...WIND GUSTS TO TROPICAL STORM FORCE ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE
COAST OF MEXICO NEAR GUAYMAS DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.
 
RAINFALL...GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE TOTAL RAINFALL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES OVER THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
STATE OF SONORA...WITH ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS OF 10 INCHES
POSSIBLE. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY PRODUCE LIFE-THREATENING FLASH
FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES. MOISTURE FROM GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO
SPREAD INTO PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHWESTERN UNITED STATES DURING THE
NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
