GEORGETTE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 27.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 111.3
WEST. THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHWEST NEAR 14
MPH...22 KM/HR. A TURN TO THE NORTH IS EXPECTED LATER TODAY. ON THE
FORECAST TRACK THE CENTER OF THE DEPRESSION WILL MOVE INLAND OVER
MEXICO WITHIN THE TROPICAL STORM WATCH AREA LATER THIS AFTERNOON.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED BEFORE
LANDFALL...BUT WEAKENING SHOULD BEGIN THEREAFTER.
 
ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1000 MB...29.53 INCHES.
 
 
HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND

WIND...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY IN GUSTS WITHIN
THE TROPICAL STORM WATCH AREA TODAY.
 
RAINFALL...GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE TOTAL RAINFALL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES OVER THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
STATE OF SONORA...WITH ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS OF 10 INCHES
POSSIBLE. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY PRODUCE LIFE-THREATENING FLASH
FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES. MOISTURE FROM GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO
