GEORGETTE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 25.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE
110.7 WEST. THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHWEST NEAR
14 MPH...22 KM/HR.  A GRADUAL TURN TOWARD THE NORTH IS EXPECTED
DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.  ON THE FORECAST TRACK...THE CENTER OF
GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO CROSS THE GULF OF CALIFORNIA AND MAKE
LANDFALL IN THE TROPICAL STORM WATCH AREA LATER TODAY.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  LITTLE CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED BEFORE LANDFALL.
WEAKENING IS EXPECTED AFTER LANDFALL...AND GEORGETTE IS EXPECTED TO

ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES OVER THE SOUTHERN BAJA PENINSULA AND
THE MEXICAN STATE OF WESTERN SONORA...WITH ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS
OF 10 INCHES POSSIBLE. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY PRODUCE LIFE-
THREATENING FLASH FLOODS AND MUD SLIDES. MOISTURE FROM GEORGETTE IS
