...CARLOTTA MOVING AWAY FROM THE COAST OF MEXICO...

AT 800 AM PDT...1500Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM CARLOTTA WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 14.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE 105.3 WEST OR ABOUT 320
MILES...510 KM...SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO MEXICO.
 
CARLOTTA IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST NEAR 13 MPH...20 KM/HR
...AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS. 
THIS TRACK WILL TAKE CARLOTTA OVER THE OPEN WATERS OF THE PACIFIC.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 45 MPH...75 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
 
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 50 MILES...85 KM

RAINS ALONG THE COAST OF SOUTHWESTERN MEXICO ARE DIMINISHING AS
CARLOTTA MOVES FARTHER OFFSHORE.

TOWARD...WEST-NORTHWEST NEAR 13 MPH.  MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...45
MPH.  MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1002 MB.
