DEPRESSION NINE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 16.4 NORTH...LONGITUDE 
37.3 WEST OR ABOUT  865 MILES...1395 KM...WEST OF THE SOUTHERNMOST
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.
 
THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 18 MPH ...30
