TROPICAL DEPRESSION DANIEL DISCUSSION NUMBER 51
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HONOLULU HI
5 PM HST FRI AUG 04 2000

DANIEL JUST WON T GIVE UP. IN FACT THE SYSTEM LOOKS SLIGHTLY BETTER
THAN IT DID 6 HOURS AGO. BECAUSE OF HIS PERSEVERANCE...AM OBLIGED TO
EXTEND THE FORECAST THROUGH ANOTHER 24 HOURS. NOTHING MUCH HAS
CHANGED SINCE THE LAST BULLETIN WITH SHEARING PUTTING A WELL EXPOSED
LLCC NORTH OF A PERSISTENT THUNDERSTORM. EVENTUALLY...DANIEL WILL
EITHER DISSIPATE OR BLEND INTO A STATIONARY TROUGH TO ITS NORTH.
CRAIG.
