Mobile NHC and NWS Weather Data

NHC offers the following information to Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) capable cellphones and mobile devices:

• Tropical Cyclone text advisories and selected graphics
• Aircraft reconnaissance messages
• TAFB marine text forecasts and discussions
• Satellite imagery courtesy of NOAA's Satellite Services Division

To view the Mobile NHC home page, you will need a cellphone or PDA equipped with a WAP microbrowser and an account with a wireless ISP. Contact a cellphone or mobile (wireless) PDA service provider for more information. If you are using the Mozilla Firefox web browser, you can simulate the NHC WAP pages by installing the free wmlbrowser Add-on.
